1) Listen to the following dialogues:

Manuela: Giorgia, hai visto Veronica?
Giorgia: È entrata in un negozio circa mezz’ora fa.
Manuela: Ti ha detto qualcosa?
Giorgia: Sì, abbiamo deciso di incontrarci alle 6 davanti alla fontana, ma ancora non si è vista.
Manuela: Eccola!
Veronica: Scusate, vi ho fatto aspettare? Ho avuto fame e sono entrata un attimo in un bar.
2) Shopping Vocabulary:

(She went into a shop about half an hour ago.)
Ho avuto fame e sono entrata un attimo in un bar.
(I was hungry and and I popped into a café.)
3) The present perfect tense (passato prossimo):
The present perfect tense is generally used to talk about something which happened recently or some time ago but its effects are still felt. Construction:

Construction of the Past participle for regular verbs:
