1) Listen to the following dialogue:

MORNING IN THE HOTEL

Veronica: Buongiorno ragazze! Dovremmo sbrigarci e fare colazione… sono già le otto e mezzo!
Giorgia: Sì, il treno per Firenze partirà alle 11.45, e noi dobbiamo ancora prepararci!
Manuela: Quanto costerà il biglietto?
Giorgia: Non lo so… Chiediamo giù in reception.
Veronica: Un attimo, spengo il televisore, metto a posto l’asciugacapelli e andiamo!

3) The future simple tense is used to talk about plans and predictions.

Esempio:

– Domani andrò a scuola in bici! I’m going to school by bike tomorrow!
– Comprerò il libro di grammatica! I’m going to buy the grammar book!

The future perfect tense is used to talk about an action carried out before another action in the future (which is in the future simple form). It is formed by adding the auxillary verb avere or essere to the past participle of the main verb.

Examples:

– Dopo che avrai pulito la tua stanza potrai uscire con i tuoi amici! After you have cleaned your room you can go out with your friends!

– Dopo che avrai dato l’esame, sarai sicuramente più tranquillo. After you’ve done the exam, you’ll certainly feel calmer.
